To glue or not to glue?
That is the question...
Who?
Virtually all of the worlds top players use speed glue.
What?
Available in both small and large cans, ITTF approved.
When?
Speed glue is usually applied around 30 min. before match time.
Make sure to put an even amount on both rubber and blade.
Allow 1-2 minutes to dry then glue rubber and blade together.
Practice makes perfect. One application lasts around 2-3 hours.
Be sure to give yourself at least 15 minutes
before match time for practice after glueing.
Why?
Speed glue increases the speed and spin of a player's shots.
This is because the glue is absorbed by the sponge making the rubber
extra stretchy. The extra stretch combined with an extra glue layer
makes for devastating speed and spin play.
